 The year is 2039 and the US military is embarking on a rescue/reconnaissance mission for an astronaut that had been lost in a nearby time rift some ten years earlier. This is no ordinary rescue mission though, as the destination of the expedition is Planet Earth, 2000 years in the future, where apes rule and humans are slaves. The goal of the mission is to rescue the missing astronaut, free the human slaves and further our understanding of what may be humankinds' own future.
